Bagged lunch ideas

Healthy Bagged Lunch Ideas

 Ideas for colder days:

– A home-made soup that I heat and pack in a soup thermos. (I usually have a container of soup in the freezer that I can heat up in the morning)

– Canned tuna or salmon, left-over roasted chicken or beef sandwich mixed with mustard, sour cream, sea salt and pepper. Then I add lettuce and raw cheese and put it between a good whole wheat sourdough bread or bagel.

– Crispy nuts

– Lacto-fermented pickle

– Cut-up fruit (they seem to eat it when it’s cut up verses whole)

– Healthy cookies that I store in the freezer and bake in the morning.

– herbal tea in a thermos

Ideas for warmer days:

Salads with a mixture of colorful vegetables topped with some protein like boiled eggs, raw cheese, canned tuna or salmon, left-over roasted chicken or beef. Then I mix it with a home-made salad dressing. If I have left-over brown rice or potatoes, I add them to the salad.

– Healthy muffins or a piece of a breakfast cake that I made for breakfast that morning with raw butter
