Sourdough Is More Nutritious and Delicious
Sourdough is basically a combination of a wild yeast and beneficial bacteria that are in the air all around us. This combination helps break down all the “hard to digest” parts of whole grains. Properly prepared whole grain products are more nutritious and easier on our digestion.
How many of you had made 100% whole grain product and it turned out to be hard as a rock? I always produced “hard to chew and swallow” products until I was given my first culture from a friends mother in Oregon. Now I hear “make this again” from my friends and family and that’s music to my ear!
